Andersen is a privately-owned business founded in 1903 by Danish immigrant Hans Andersen and his family in Hudson, Wisconsin. Now headquartered in Bayport, Minnesota, Andersen Corporation is an international enterprise employing over 9,000 people in locations across North America with sales worldwide.

Andersen holds FSC chain-of-custody certification from the Forest Stewardship Council, was one of the first window manufacturers accepted into the Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR® Program and has been awarded the ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year award for the Product Manufacturer—Windows category for its family of brands.

Andersen focuses on providing durable, high-quality products for the remodeling, replacement and new construction home and light commercial markets. Products include windows, doors and storm doors under the names A-Series, Eagle, 400 Series, 200 Series, 100 Series, Andersen Architectural, Renewal by Andersen and Silver Line windows. In addition, the company makes Andersen Exterior Trim.

Andersen focuses on using the right material in the right application. One innovative material is the company’s proprietary Fibrex® material; a revolutionary composite combining the strength and stability of wood with the low-maintenance features of vinyl. Fibrex material was developed by Andersen Corporation over 20 years ago and is a highly sustainable structural composite that blends the best attributes of sawdust and polymer ¾ the bio-fiber used is reclaimed directly from milling operations.
